Alfama Rooftop

The rooftop terrace at Altura Alfama opens to the Tagus at the golden hour. A short menu of Portuguese wines, vermouth cocktails, and petiscos. Open evenings, 7 to midnight, to guests and a small number of neighbors who remember how to make a reservation.
The view
Panoramic across the Alfama rooftops to the Tagus and Cristo-Rei on the far bank. Three tables get the best south-facing view; book them at check-in.
The program
We host one Fado dinner per month, in collaboration with a Fado house three streets away. Guests get first access. The rest of the calendar is occasional wine-maker dinners and natural-wine pop-ups.
