Dr. Okonkwo leads neurology at Aster and directs our Comprehensive Stroke Center. She has spent her career reducing door-to-needle times and expanding access to mechanical thrombectomy. Under her direction, Aster's stroke program has moved into the top decile nationally for time-to-treatment metrics.
